Berchidda

Berchidda is located on the southern hill of the Limbara massif in north Sardinia. This to tourists fairly unknown area is perfectly suited for nature lovers in search of tranquillity and relaxation in a wooded area.
This area houses the various vineyards responsible for the production of the renowned Vermentino di Gallura wines. In the area you can visit various Domus de Janas, dolmen, nuraghe and archaeological remains dating back to the Roman Ages.
The steep streets lead to spacious villas alternated with smaller houses. The central square offers a breath taking view across the valley and Monte Acuto.
The sea and the popular villages along the Costa Smeralda as well as Porto Rotondo and Porto San Paolo are easily reached by car.
