About the accommodation
These simple, clean and functional holiday homes offer the ideal solution for large and small families. The small Mono-K studio apartments with a kitchenette are housed in Hotel Tartaruga Bianca. The larger apartments are all located in a complex on a hill in La Ciaccia, just 200 meters from Hotel Tartatuga Bianca. Nice is that you can use the services of the hotel and the common areas. A large breakfast room and lounge, a garage for bicycles, mountain bike rental and a small library with information about the different regions of Sardinia are at your disposal. Here you can enjoy the freedom of movement of an apartment, but also hotel service, ideal right?
It is about a 600m walk from the apartment to the beautiful long beach of La Ciaccia, which merges almost seamlessly into Maragnani beach. Surfers are sure to get their money's worth in this corner of the island when the Mistral wind blows from the north. Kiters can gain experience at the flat estuary of the Coghinas River. On the beach of La Ciaccia there is a beach bar and in the village you will find restaurants and pizzerias. At only 3 km. lies the town of Valledoria, which invites you for a wonderful evening stroll.

In the small complex there are various holiday homes for couples and small families to large five-bedroom apartments for larger families or a group of friends. We are happy to advise you on which apartment is best suited for you and your travel group. All apartments have satellite TV, air conditioning and furnished terrace. Except for the small Mono-K apartments, all apartments have a washing machine and a barbecue. Free WiFi is available at the hotel reception.
Activities
Families will not easily get bored in Valledoria. Many holiday parks and campsites receive holidaymakers from all over the world in the north of Sardinia in the early, high and late season. Here you will find everything you need for your holiday: beautiful and long sandy beaches, dunes in Badesi and in San Pietro a Mare beach bars as well as rental of beach beds and umbrellas. When the wind from the sea is a bit chilly, you can retreat to Sedini in the mountains. Houses in rocks were once built here, certainly worth a look. In the evening it is also worth taking a detour to the old town of Castelsardo. This town was built in the Middle Ages on a fairly high rock. Besides shops and a wide range of restaurants and bars, the sunset from here is really fantastic!

Valledoria is located on the north coast of Sardinia, in the province of Sassari . Discover the north-western province of Sassari
The province of Sassari is a fairly well-known province, due to the presence of the Fertilia Airport near Alghero which draws in many a tourist. Its eponymous capital, whose city centre consists of numerous narrow alleys, has a rich history. Villages such as Alghero, Stintino and the picturesque seaside town Castelsardo are the main highlights in the area, although the capital Sassari, which has been extensively renovated over the past years, is definitely worth a visit too.
