The island of Isola San Pietro, with its only town Carloforte, is located just ten kilometers southwest of Sardinia in the middle of the small Sulcis archipelago.
The nature of the island is absolutely wonderful: beautiful cliffs, beautiful beaches and crystal clear water alternate. In addition, the lush green hills and dark valleys, dry salt lakes, pine forests and rare fauna characterize San Pietro. The island's coastline, which is only 18 kilometers long, offers an alternation of golden yellow beach strips, high cliffs, bizarre fjord-like bays and wide gorges. And all this with a beautiful view of the coast, the neighboring island of Sant'Antioco and the southwest coast of Sardinia.
