Privat Jeep Tour with visit to Orgosolo and the Supramonte
Discover Orgosolo aboard a Jeep, in the heart of Sardinia. Orgosolo is one of the most famous villages in Barbagia, rich in culture, traditions, and adorned with over 200 murals in its center. During village festivals, unlike many other villages, the women of Orgosolo wear brightly colored costumes and the men sing the traditional canto a tenore in chorus, something all villagers are truly proud of. You will board the Jeep exclusively with your own group in Orosei. There are two Jeeps available, each with space for up to eight people.
Murals tour, hike to the top and shepherd's lunch
Guided by an expert, you will visit an impressive giant's tomb and unravel the mysteries of the Nuragic culture. With off-road vehicles, you'll venture deep into the forest, where after a twenty-minute hike, you'll reach the summit of Monte Novo San Giovanni at an altitude of 1316 meters. At midday, an authentic Sardinian lunch (additional cost) is served in a shepherd's hut. Together with a local shepherd and possibly participants from the other Jeep, you'll enjoy classic dishes such as boiled sheep, roast suckling pig, delicious pecorino cheese accompanied by red Cannonau wine, and a shot of Sardinian grappa; "Filu 'e Ferru". After lunch, you'll visit the center of Orgosolo and take a guided tour of the numerous murals. In short, a delightful experience in the real Sardinia!
