Sardinia, a unique experience

Hiking trip to the bay of Cala Goloritzè

There are plenty of beautiful bays in Sardinia, but the bay of Cala Goloritzè on the Golfo di Orosei is one of the most special! During this excursion in Eastern Sardinia you hike from the Golgo plateau in Baunei to Cala Goloritzè. This special spot can only be reached via this adventurous track. Even by boat you only get to 200 meters off the coast.

The winding trail through unspoiled nature leads partly over a sandy road and partly over a cobblestone path. The walking distance is approximately 3.5 kilometers, but you have to deal with a descent (and on the way back a climb) of 470 meters. The 75-meter high rock (Punta Salinas) of Cala Goloritzè - highly sought after by avid climbers - and the well-known arch that disappears into the water are clearly visible along the way. At the end of the path you walk up a steep staircase carved out of the rocks to the beautiful beach. On the beautiful beach you of course have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear sea before walking back again. Are you ready for this fun mix of adventure, relaxation and unique views?
