The most beautiful hiking trails - Sardinia

Hiking in Sardinia? On the island you have plenty of walking options! There are several hiking areas, both in the north and south of Sardinia. Do you like to walk in silence through an unspoilt nature reserve, a route along the coast or do you prefer to hike in the mountains? Especially for you, Sardinia4all has highlighted various hiking tips on Sardinia to discover the most beautiful places on the island on foot.

In Sardinia you can actually hike almost all year round - however, the heat from mid-June to mid-September should not be underestimated. You should therefore avoid strenuous tours on extremely sunny days. Who would have thought that - in the winter months there is often snowfall in the higher elevations. However, an area rarely remains white for long periods of time. Spring and autumn are best for longer hiking tours, but rainwear should be part of the standard equipment, especially in the mountains, because the weather can always change!

In general: Never underestimate the heat and bring enough drinking water with you, a hat is mandatory anyway. A good sense of direction is also important. Many trails are not adequately marked and not all route descriptions offer a watertight orientation. Off the beaten track, Sardinia is still a hiking paradise for explorers!
An alternative to individual hiking are guided individual or group hikes, which we have in our program. Our local hiking guides offer a handpicked selection of guided excursions, from easy and relaxing walks to challenging tours for experienced hikers .
