About the accommodation
The wonderful Pelican Beach Resort, just 8 kilometres from Olbia Airport in the northern province of Olbia Tempio, overlooks Isle Tavolara and has a private beach. Its adult-only formula ensures a tranquil holiday in a cosy and romantic ambiance.
Rooms
The resort’s hotel rooms are housed in 2 buildings: the Pelican Villa and Garden Fitness & Spa. The 41 rooms at Garden Fitness & Spa are divided over 2 floors, just 100 metres from the beach. Most rooms have a private balcony. Guests in search of more space and luxury can book a Deluxe room, that consists of a combined living and bedroom with the possibility to house a 3rd guest.
The remaining 26 rooms are housed in the Pelican Villa on the ground or first floor, overlooking the sea, Isle Tavolara or the garden.
All rooms feature satellite TV, air-conditioning, a phone, minibar, safe, bathroom with shower and hairdryer and a courtesy set. The Deluxe and Presidential Rooms, as well as all rooms in the Villa, are also provided with a tea and coffee machine and Bulgari toiletries.

The pool surrounded by lounge chairs and parasols is located on the first floor of the Garden Fitness & Spa and is free of charge for all guests. The resort’s private beach is provided with a bar, lounge chairs and parasols. For guests staying at the Beach Front rooms, Junior Suites, Suites or The Pelican Villa there’s a grass area reserved.
At the Pelican Beach’s restaurant, housed in the Pelican Villa and provided with a spacious terrace overlooking the sea, you'll start the day with an extensive breakfast buffet. At lunch time and at night you can book a table here in order to enjoy the chef's tasty seafood and local dishes.
The fairly new wellness centre is located in an area of ca. 330 square metres. This Spa is provided with a sauna, whirlpool and Turkish bath. You can book (duo) massages and various beauty treatments here or work out in the fitness area.

Pittulongu
Pittulongu, also known as "Puntale Lungo", is a small holiday complex on the great coast, between Olbia all the way to Golfo Aranci. Here one super beach follows the next. The beautiful white sandy beaches of Pittulongu are also popular with the Sardinians. From the beach towel you can enjoy the view of the sea and the impressive Tavolara Island from the apartment, which is considered the symbol of the northeast of the island. On the main beach of Pittulongu (also called "La Playa" by the Olbiesi) is the Sail Board Beach Club, where you can rent windsurf boards, SUPs, inflatables and sailing boats.
