Villa in Porto Rotondo
Villa Rocce is part of a small complex consisting of five luxury villas in the middle of Porto Rotondo. Initially anything but a touristic village on the Mediterranean Sea, it was discovered in the 1960s by the Venetian brothers Luigi and Nicolò Donà delle Rose. They decided to found a harbor in the bay and to transform the village into a perfect meeting place for artists and sculptors. You can still see various works of art today, including the statues on the Piazzetta San Marco and Piazzetta della Vecchia Darsena. Due to the construction of beautiful holiday villas, luxury hotels and resorts in and around Porto Rotondo, the former small village was gradually brought to life. Today it is a fashionable seaside resort on the Costa Smeralda where you can enjoy a holiday in the luxurious Villa Rocce with a marina, coastline and nice eateries within easy reach!
Five bedrooms with en-suite bathroom
The 4 storeys high Villa Rocce is accessible through 2 different entrances. Through the first entrance you reach the ground floor of the house via a long staircase. Through entrance number two you enter the garden directly through the driveway with the swimming pool, solarium, a cozy sitting area and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and barbecue. The swimming pool is open from April to October and can be heated on request and for a fee.
Entering the villa from the ground floor - at garden level - you reach a double bedroom with a private bathroom with a shower and a double bedroom with a private bathroom with a bathtub. Via the internal or external staircase you reach the first floor where the living room is located, as well as the kitchen and the furnished terraces with garden and sea views. Right next to the kitchen is another double bedroom with en suite shower room. This room has a private entrance from the terrace. One floor up is another double room with a private bathroom with bathtub and a balcony from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the marina. Bedroom number five is under the house and has 2 single beds as well as a bathroom with shower. This room also has an independent access and a small terrace. At the front of the room is the laundry room with a large pantry.

Villa Rocce di Porto Rotondo (10 pers.)
Porto Rotondo
Porto Rotondo is located on the Golfo di Marinella, the most southern area of the Costa Smeralda at ca. 16 kilometres from Olbia. There are many shops and galleries along the quay and near the Piazzetta San Marco. The cafes and restaurants are filled with visitors during the summer months, but in the low season it’s fairly quiet, sometimes deserted even.
We recommend visiting the San Lorenzo Church with the wooden biblical figures by Mario Ceroli, and the peninsula Punta della Volpe, dividing the Golfo di Marinella and the Golfo di Cugnana. There are various water sports facilities near the quay of Marina di Porto Rotondo, such as diving, snorkelling, surfing and stand up paddling.
