Days with bad weather are rare, but it can of course also sometimes rain in Sardinia. A wonderful example is Autunno in Barbagia. Sardinian specialties are served, traditional costumes, music and liters of local wine are poured. Everyone is welcome. But also a gastronomic evening in a good restaurant, an authentic trattoria or simply in a pizzeria are also nice to end an autumn evening in Sardinia!

When the days get shorter, the south of Sardinia plays its aces. Between Costa Rei and the Costa del Sud the season is a few weeks longer compared to the north of the island and it is not uncommon to have a wonderful swim in the beginning of November.

Since Italy mainly lives from Italian travelers who prefer a midsummer holiday, the price level on the island drops considerably when the large companies in northern Italy reopen in September and the summer vacation ends. Therefore, the price drops considerably from mid-September and you can often go on holiday at half of the high season price.
