The estate of this winemaker is located in Gergei, near Barumini, about a 50-minute drive from Cagliari. The vineyards cover 30 hectares and are planted with native Sardinian grape varieties such as Cannonau, Bovale, Semidano, as well as aromatic varieties like Nasco and Malvasia. These grape varieties have a unique connection with the Sardinian terroir and are traditionally cultivated, resulting in distinctive aromas and flavors. It is also the first fully BioIntegrale winery. This means that they produce a sustainable wine that respects biodiversity. This tour offers an introduction to the Tenuta, providing insights into the company's history, production methods, and philosophy. You'll have the opportunity to glance into the production area, including the room with terracotta amphorae, the wooden barrel room where fine reserve wines mature, and the area with steel tanks where the youngest and most refreshing wines are crafted. The tour concludes with a tasting of three young wines, accompanied by an assortment of cured meats, cheeses, and local delicacies.

You will receive fascinating information about the geology and geography of the area, enriched with a tour through the vineyards where you walk among the rows of vines. You will visit the wine cellar and production areas, discovering details about the ancient method of winemaking in terracotta amphorae and the various methods of aging the wines. The tour concludes with a tasting of four wines, accompanied by a selection of meats and cheeses produced in the region, served with carasau bread and our homemade extra virgin olive oil.
