Unique climbing experience on the rocky island of Pan di Zucchero (southwest Sardinia)
133 meters high, 300 by 200 meters wide, vertical limestone walls, this is how the limestone rock Pan di Zucchero has stood in the surf of the wild Mediterranean on the west coast of Sardinia for millions of years. Difficult and only accessible by boat is the reason why this is a special dream paradise for sport climbing. This trip is therefore only allowed with an experienced guide who will take you on an island adventure. A maximum of two people, including instruction and equipment, can participate. Pan di Zucchero is a multi-level climbing area that requires endurance and experience. Depending on your experience, our guide will choose the right level of difficulty for you. Once at the top you can enjoy a great view of a spectacular landscape that you only find in unparalleled Sardinia!
The Pan di Zucchero rock owes its name to its white, sugar-covered top. Decades ago, the rocky island was visited by miners who dug Galenit here. Today, the steep boulder is open to climbing enthusiasts who want to take on the challenge with a guide.
